Meera Temple is a small 15th-century Krishna shrine associated with Meera Bai, the 16th-century saint-poet whose devotional songs to Krishna are part of the north Indian bhakti canon. Legend says she was poisoned by her in-laws but survived because Krishna protected her. The temple is architecturally modest but historically significant as the place of Meera's worship.
