Dzukou Valley

Dzukou Valley is a high altitude valley at 2,452 metres straddling the Nagaland and Manipur border and is one of India’s most spectacular flowering valleys, known for the rare Dzukou Lily Lilium chitrangadae that is endemic to the region, making it a major highlight of Dzukou tourism and Dzukou travel guide experiences. The valley floor is covered in vast meadows that bloom from July to August in an extraordinary display of white, yellow, and pink, including the Dzukou Lily along with euphorbias and dwarf rhododendrons, making it one of the top attractions in Dzukou and a key part of Dzukou sightseeing. The valley is reached by a demanding 2 to 3 day trek from either Viswema on the Nagaland side or Khezhakeno which is shorter, also on the Nagaland side, or from Senapati on the Manipur side, making trekking one of the main things to do in Dzukou.
