Bet Dwarka is a small island about 30 kilometres north of Dwarka, reached by a 20 minute ferry from Okha, and is a key highlight of Dwarka tourism and Dwarka sightseeing. According to legend, the island was Krishna’s actual residence, and several temples here mark specific events from his life, making it one of the most important places to visit in Dwarka. The main Krishna temple and the Hanuman Dandi Temple, known for its unique four footed Hanuman Makaradhwaja image, are the primary sights and central to things to do in Dwarka.
