About
Chandrashila Peak is a 4,000 metre summit just 1.5 kilometres above Tungnath Temple, with one of the finest Himalayan views in Uttarakhand, making it one of the top attractions in Chopta and a highlight of Chopta tourism. The final climb is steep, rocky, and often snow covered, but the summit opens to a 360 degree panorama including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, and Neelkanth, making it one of the most rewarding things to do in Chopta and a key experience in Chopta sightseeing.
