About
The central meadow of Yusmarg forms a wide, green bowl encircled by pine-covered ridges, with the milky white Doodh Ganga flowing along its edge. Pony rides lead to the riverside viewpoint, up to forested ridges, and onward to Nilnag Lake. Despite its beauty, the valley remains largely peaceful, coming alive mainly on weekends when families from Srinagar arrive for picnics on the open grasslands.

A broad, flat grassland in Yusmarg, perfect for long walks and relaxed picnics, is surrounded by pine-covered ridges on every side. This serene landscape is one of the most peaceful places to visit in Yusmarg.
