About
The Mizo Traditional Village near Reiek Peak is a reconstructed pre Christian era Mizo village and an open air museum showing traditional architecture, weaponry, clothing, and daily life, making it a key highlight of Reiek tourism and Reiek sightseeing. The village includes a traditional chief’s house Lal In, a bachelor’s dormitory Zawlbuk, granaries, a sawmpui longhouse, and agricultural displays, all preserved as part of places to visit in Reiek. Maintained by the Mizoram government, it is considered one of the best living history experiences in North East India and a notable part of any Reiek travel guide.
