Hatu Peak
About
Hatu Peak at 3,400 meters is a major highlight in any Narkanda travel guide. It can be reached by a steep 7-kilometer drive from Narkanda or by a 2-hour hike, making it one of the most popular things to do in Narkanda for both casual visitors and trekkers. At the summit, there is the small Hatu Mata temple, which is traditionally believed to be the place where Rani Mandodari, the wife of Ravana, once worshipped. From here, travelers are rewarded with wide panoramic views. On clear mornings, the Kinnaur Kailash range dominates the eastern horizon, making it one of the most striking viewpoints in the region for anyone who chooses to visit Narkanda.
