Mukteshwar Dham Temple is a 350-year-old Shiva shrine built on a rocky outcrop at 2,312 metres, with a white stone lingam inside a small cave-like sanctum, making it one of the top places to visit in Mukteshwar and a highlight of Mukteshwar tourism. The real draw, however, is the 180-degree panorama of the Himalayan snow peaks visible from the temple's wooden railing, Nanda Devi (7,816 m), Nanda Kot, Trishul, and Panchachuli all visible on clear mornings, making it one of the best things to do in Mukteshwar and a key part of Mukteshwar sightseeing.
