Solang Valley, locally known as 'Snow Point,' sits 13 km from Manali at an altitude of 2,560 meters and is the adventure sports hub of the Kullu Valley. In winter, the valley transforms into a snow playground with skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In summer, it's the launchpad for paragliding, zorbing, and a ropeway ride to 3,000 meters with panoramic Himalayan views. The new Atal Tunnel starts just beyond Solang, making it a transit point to the otherworldly landscapes of Lahaul-Spiti.

What makes this place special

A 1.3 km ropeway ride from the valley floor to 3,000 meters, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of snow-capped peaks, pine forests, and the Beas Valley below.

Tandem paragliding flights from Solang's upper slopes offer 10-20 minutes of soaring over the valley with views of Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges.

During winter, the gentle slopes of Solang become Himachal's most accessible ski area, with short courses available for beginners and equipment on rent.
