The Icehotel (Jukkasjärvi)
About
Located in the nearby village of Jukkasjärvi, the Icehotel is the world's first and most famous hotel constructed entirely of snow and ice harvested from the Torne River. Each winter, international artists gather to sculpt unique art suites, ice bars, and a chapel, which melt back into the river in spring, alongside a permanent year-round ice experience.
