Anasakti Ashram
About
Anasakti Ashram is the stone bungalow where Mahatma Gandhi stayed for two weeks in 1929 while writing his commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. It has been preserved as a small museum displaying photographs, Gandhi’s letters, the charkha he used, and the original rooms he occupied. A simple prayer hall also hosts daily multi-faith sessions. This is one of the most meaningful places to visit in Kausani for its historical importance.
