About
The Forest Research Institute, established in 1906 and housed in a grand Greco-Roman-Colonial building completed in 1929, is one of the top attractions in Dehradun and a highlight of Dehradun tourism. Set across 450 hectares of lawns and old-growth trees, the campus houses six museums and is one of the most impressive places to visit in Dehradun. Its symmetrical colonnade and central courtyard are among the most photographed spots in the city, making it a key stop for Dehradun sightseeing and things to do in Dehradun.
