Midu Waterfall
About
Midu Waterfall lies 8 kilometres from Daringbadi town, making it one of the most scenic things to do in Daringbadi. This 100 foot cascade is reached by a short forest walk and is especially dramatic in October and November after the monsoon flow. During the dry season the volume reduces but the setting remains atmospheric. A natural pool at the base allows for refreshing cold dips in the right season. The surrounding forest forms part of the Daringbadi ecosystem, known for occasional wildlife sightings such as civets, wild boars, and over 100 bird species.

What makes this place special

100-foot Cascade
The main drop measures 100 feet and looks most powerful in October and November when post monsoon waters are at their peak, often drawing visitors planning how to visit Daringbadi and explore nearby Koraput Daringbadi routes.

Base Pool
A small rocky pool collects at the base, shallow and better suited for dips in the dry season, especially for travellers staying in nearby Daringbadi hotels and exploring the region’s cool climate that even brings rare Daringbadi snowfall in winter.
