Centro de Artes de Vanguardia la Neomudejar

La Neomudéjar is one of Madrid's most exciting and unconventional cultural spaces — a magnificent 19th-century Mudéjar-style industrial complex that has been transformed into a vibrant centre for contemporary arts, experimental performance, and cultural exchange. Its striking red-brick arches and soaring ceilings provide a dramatic backdrop for a diverse and ever-changing programme that ranges from visual art exhibitions and live music to theatre, dance, and community events. An essential visit for those seeking Madrid's cultural edge beyond the mainstream museum circuit.

Arrive at the imposing Mudéjar building and enter through its grand archways into a complex of exhibition halls, performance spaces, and open courtyards. The specific experience will depend on the current programme — you may encounter a major contemporary art installation, a live performance in the main hall, or a community cultural event in the courtyard. The building itself is worth visiting for its extraordinary architecture alone, with every corner offering photogenic details of ornate brickwork and iron structure.
