What to expect

Open seven days a week, Aquarium of the Bay at Pier 39 and the Embarcadero in San Francisco is an educational facility dedicated to the teaching about marine environments and inspiring conservation of the San Francisco Bay. The aquarium is home to sea lions, 100s of large fish species, sharks, and over 20,000 marine animals. Daily scheduled bat ray feeding teaches you how these animals are fed and special events throughout the year target student tours with lessons about the care of the tanks, the marine life, and the environment as a whole. Located at the Fisherman's Wharf, you are minutes away from dozens of dining and shopping choices both family friendly and geared to single adults.
