Castle de Haar is the largest and most luxurious castle in the Netherlands, looking like a fairytale fortress brought to life. Rebuilt in the late nineteenth century by architect Pierre Cuypers on medieval ruins, the castle features grand towers, deep moats, suspension bridges, and beautifully manicured formal gardens.
