About

Snow View Point at 2,270 metres offers the best-known Nainital view, reached by a ropeway from the Mallital end of the Nainital lake. On mornings with clear Nainital weather, the ridge overlooks the Garhwal-Kumaon snow range, with Nanda Devi visible directly ahead. A small Mundiyapani temple and a telescope stand at the summit platform, a must-visit spot in Nainital.
