About

At 162 meters tall, Bowen Falls is the highest permanent waterfall in Milford Sound. Plunging from a hanging valley high in the Darren Range, the sheer volume of water creates a massive plume of spray. It is so powerful that it serves as the sole source of electricity and fresh water for the small Milford settlement.
