About
Located in the heart of the old town, Limassol Castle is a sturdy medieval fortress built over a Christian basilica. The castle has a rich history, serving as the legendary site where Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre in 1191. Today, it houses the Cyprus Medieval Museum.
