Römerberg is the historic heart of Frankfurt, a charming square lined with traditional half-timbered houses and medieval-style buildings. Although much of it was reconstructed after World War II, it beautifully reflects the city’s old-town character. The Römer (City Hall) has served as Frankfurt’s administrative center for over 600 years.
